JAFA
JAFA (Just A Fan's Analysis) is an award-winning Android and iOS App that brings football fans together in one place.
Dec 2018 - Feb 2019
Introduction
During my time at JAFA I was primarily involved with the UI Design of the Mobile App. I worked on wireframes, prototypes and then translated them into high-fidelity artwork to handover to the dev team.
I also rebranded the visual identity of the brand before the Beta launch of the App. As a part if this I redesigned all social media profile assets as well as social post templates the business would use going forward.
Finally I also created the brand identity for the new media-based sub-brand the company used to grow the reach of the brand across multiple social platforms, called JAFA TV.
Process & Experience
Working at JAFA was my first full-time design role since graduating university.
As a result I learned a lot in a very short amount of time from being able to work very closely with the lead designer in a small team.
I mainly started out with smaller jobs like updating the company’s assets templates. However after impressing in a short space of time I was given more responsibility and the opportunity to work on customer facing UI designs that ultimately would make their way into the finished app.

The Outcome
The outcome of this project was primarily a great experience of being a part of a real-world design team, where I was able to develop the skills I gained from university.
The best part of this project was seeing my UI design work in sections of the JAFA app.
